JKU Institute of Leadership and Counselling (JILC) is an international professional body that seeks to develop leadership and counseling skills and knowledge in employers and employees alike as we commit ourselves to help individuals achieve qualifications and certifications, equipping them with prospects and ideas for proper handling of societal challenges and to contribute to strategies and innovations for the betterment of societies.

JILC is fully affiliated with Juliana King University (JKU), a Texas USA-based Christian Liberal Arts institution thoroughly biblical in its philosophy of education and training

Vision

To be an independent and collaborating institute from which leadership and counseling professionals, academics, government, and businesses, will collectively champion leadership and counseling practices and processes.

Mission

To be a catalyst for innovation, research, and training in the leadership and counseling sub-sectors, by acting as a vehicle for professionals to gain knowledge and cutting-edge technology in the performance of their duties and the observance of international best practices and good corporate governance.

OBJECTIVES

JILC OBJECTIVES

To promote good leadership knowledge and practices amongst leaders in Nigeria’s public and private sectors.

To promote good counselling knowledge and best practices amongst Nigerian citizens in the public and private sectors.

To advance education and research in leadership and counselling in Nigeria.

To run leadership and counselling courses,
trainings and issue certificates to
worthy participants and members.

To provide consultancy to private and public
sector institutions in leadership and counselling

To independently organize and implement
seminars, workshops, forums and
symposiums on leadership and counselling.

To partner and or collaborate with public and
private sector institutions in the organization
and implementation of seminars, workshops,
forums and symposiums on leadership and counselling

To undertake research in leadership and counselling

To publish academic journals, newsletters and
periodicals in leadership and counselling

To publish an annual Leadership and
Counselling Index for Nigerian
public and private sector institutions.
